Shaping Space Community Survey

What does equitable and accessible public space look like for you? Complete our survey form to share your thoughts!

STEPS is pleased to announce Shaping Space, a national research project with partners and collaborators to identify priority areas for collective action to cultivate welcoming public spaces for more equitable access for all Canadians, with a special focus on equity-deserving communities. This project is funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada’s Intersectoral Action Fund that is supporting initiatives that address systemic health challenges and barriers to improve Canadian health equity and well-being.

Together with our partners and collaborators, we are interested in hearing from you about what makes public spaces welcoming, equitable and accessible.

Share your thoughts by completing the survey (available in French and English):

Our findings will be shared through a final report and action plan that we hope will foster a community of practice to increase the representation of experiences in public space design and activation. Learn more about Shaping Space (English and French translations are available).
