Giving Tuesday: Bring Public Art to Your Community!

Public art makes cities vibrant and we need YOUR help to bring more art to your communities

Participate in Giving Tuesday on November 28, 2023, a global day of giving to support the mission of charities and organizations that are positively transforming communities around the world.

This year marks STEPS Public Art’s 10 Years of Public Art Impact and we need your support to continue achieving our mission of engaging and empowering artists and communities to transform public spaces into vibrant places.

Make another decade of public art possible with a monthly donation of $10 to mark our 10 year anniversary

Your donation directly contributes to new public art projects across the country, equitable fees for artists, community-engaged workshops, and charitable programming. Together, let’s build stronger and inclusive communities through public art to make cities stand out.

10 Years of Public Art Impact

In October 2023, we celebrated our 10 year anniversary at the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) where the organization began its journey. It was a joyous evening of networking, celebrating public art achievements with artists, clients, donors, and long-time collaborators, and imagining the next decade of public art possibilities across the country.

Since our first-ever large-scale public art installation Phoenix Rising back in 2013 (also known as the World’s Tallest Mural at the time), STEPS has grown into a Canadian charity and social enterprise with services in public art management, hoarding exhibits, cultural planning, and artist capacity building. Community-engagement is at the heart of our work and we continue to run charitable programs that support artists and fosters inclusive communities.

Through your donation of $10/month, we can take on larger public art initiatives for even greater community impact!
