Register: Oakwood Village Community Mosaic Workshop

Learn about mosaic art and the impact of public art with artist Mehtap Mertdogan, Oakwood Village BIA and STEPS in this interactive in-person workshop!

STEPS and Oakwood Village Business Improvement Area (BIA) invite community members in Toronto’s Oakwood Village area to come out and attend this Mosaic Art Workshop!

This community-engaged activity will be facilitated by artist Mehtap Mertdogan and artist assistant Jennifer Chin who will teach the method of making mosaics. By the end of the workshop, participants will take home their very own mini mosaic artwork!

STEPS and Oakwood Village BIA worked with Mehtap to create two beautiful mosaics on the tables outside of the Toronto Public Library as part of I HeART Main Street, a program supporting BIAs in bringing more public art to communities across Canada.

Please note that children can not be left unattended and they must be supervised by a guardian at all times during the event.
