ARTIST INFORMATION
Born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, Chikonzero Chazunguza studied the classical modes of printmaking, drawing and painting at the Institute of Pictorial Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2009, Chiko arrived in Canada where he was confronted with the contrasting realities of ’here and there’.
He is the recipient of numerous awards and has exhibited in several solo shows in Africa, Europe and North America, where his work has also been collected.
