ARTIST INFORMATION
Erika James is a Toronto-based multimedia artist and curator, also known as street artist NIXO. Her practice includes murals, sculpture, installations, and community-engaged projects. She is the co-founder and co-director of KJ Bit mural collective and the Open Field Collective who create art in unique public spaces.
Erika’s work seeks to provide fun and interactive experiences between artists and community through activations such as live-paint jams and gallery pop-ups in the public realm.
