Jordan

Born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario, Jordan Dunlop exhibited art from an early age and continuing throughout adulthood. His recent paintings explore gestural abstraction based on unconventional mark-making, both intentional as well as by chance and error. He paints on reclaimed plexiglass which he saves from scrap bins found throughout the city. Painting the imperfections transforms them into artworks similar in spirit to the Japanese broken pottery method, ‘Kintsugi’.
