Roberta

Roberta Murray, ASA is a visual storyteller from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. She is a juried member of the Alberta Society of Artists and the Federation of Canadian Artists. She splits her time between painting, photography, and digital illustration, sometimes combining all three. She has earned recognition in several different genres as an award-winning photographer, painter, and illustrator.

Roberta is most passionate about the land and the animals inhabiting it. Her goal is to interpret the spiritual or emotional connection she has with the subject. She is not interested in realism or creating an exact likeness. Instead, she wants to represent the emotion, allowing the viewer to share in the feelings and relationship she has with the subject.
