This interior mural, Where the Light is Found by Marcelline Siu, takes inspiration from the wildlife and landscapes of Minnekhada Regional Park as a significant place for the Port Coquitlam community. The design features the immensely wooded forests of the park and the black bear population that define the region.

Marcelline Siu is an illustrator, muralist and architect based in Vancouver. With a background in environmental design and architecture, she looks for opportunities to create works that synthesize space and art together.

These works of art were made possible by BMO in collaboration with STEPS Public Art. BMO’s National Mural Series was designed to create opportunities to celebrate local communities and the people who live and visit them.
