Wenting

Wenting Li is an illustrator, muralist and comics artist working in Toronto. You can find her work in publications like The Walrus, at local zine fairs, and on certain street corners in the city.

Wenting’s artistic work tends to explore whimsy, metaphor, eclecticism and play. She is also deeply invested in diversity of representation and in doing work that aligns with her personal convictions of sustainable growth, amplifying underrepresented voices, and building up the community she is a part of. Living in Toronto, Wenting finds endless inspiration in biking and walking through the city & its natural spaces on Indigenous land, in the wildly talented & thoughtful arts community, and in close friendships. In her images, she hopes to create windows into an inclusive space that invites questions, possibility and subtle fantasy.
