A PATCH PROJECT
Settling
Settling uses simplistic shapes and pastel colours to create an abstract map of a Toronto neighbourhood. This piece was inspired by the experience of moving to downtown Toronto from a small town, feeling like the city was never-ending and overwhelming, and how that perception changed as the artist settled into her west-end apartment and began to intimately understand the neighbourhood.
