STEPS will be at the Aurora Public Art Forum on March 31, 2022
In partnership with STEPS, the Town of Aurora is hosting the Aurora Public Art Forum as part of the development of the community’s first-ever Public Art Master Plan (PAMP). This forum will bring together leaders from across sectors to guide Aurora’s journey in fostering a strong public art program in support of tourism development, neighbourhood design, and cultural expression.
We are excited to take part in a panel discussion tomorrow with Queen Kikoyi and Nico Taylor from Black Speculative Arts Movement (BSAM) Canada and Catherine Dean (Public Art Officer, City of Toronto). There will also be an artist talk with Clarissa M. Lewis and other interactive workshops.
